About us
One stop on Great South Road, and most of your health sorted.
We've been looking after Manurewa since 2004. The pharmacy sits inside a centre with two medical practices, an optometrist and a hearing centre — with Labtests and dentists close by. Park once, and get it all done.
We're an independently owned pharmacy — not part of a chain — with trained staff who are genuinely happy to answer your questions. There's always a pharmacist on site, and a private consulting room if you'd rather not talk at the counter.
Between us we speak English, Arabic, Assyrian, Lao and Vietnamese, so there's a good chance someone here can talk you through your medicines in your own language. Just ask.
Plenty of what we do doesn't need an appointment or a prescription at all — vaccinations, treatment for urinary tract infections, and advice on the medicines you're already taking.

What you may not have to pay for
A lot of what people expect to be charged for here is funded. If you're not sure whether it applies to you, ask us — we'd rather check than have you go without.
- Prescriptions — free For under 14s, over 65s, and Community Services Card holders.
- Flu vaccine — free For over 65s, pregnant women, people with diabetes, and asthmatics on a preventer.
- Boostrix in pregnancy — free Whooping cough protection, funded from 16 weeks' gestation.
- Shingles vaccine — free Funded at age 65.
- Blister packing — free Conditions apply. Talk to us about whether it suits your medicines.
Funding rules change from time to time. We'll always tell you what something costs before we do it.

Your medicines sorted into a clear weekly pack, so it's obvious what to take and when. Free of charge, conditions apply — just ask us.
Medicine delivery
We deliver within Manurewa on Wednesdays for $5. Call us before 10am on the Wednesday to get on that day's run.
Long-term conditions
Support and reminders for regular medicines, so repeat prescriptions don't sneak up on you.
Free medicine disposal
Bring in anything expired or no longer needed. It keeps your home safer and cuts the risk of taking the wrong thing.
Sharps disposal
Used needles and lancets can be returned to us for safe disposal, so they never go in the household rubbish.
Passport & ID photos
Photos for passports, visas and 18+ cards, taken to the required standard while you wait.
See a pharmacist — no prescription needed
After a short, private consultation with our pharmacist.
Urinary tract infection
Trimethoprim for women aged 16–65, supplied directly by the pharmacist without a doctor's visit.
Emergency contraceptive pill
Available discreetly and without judgement. Sooner is more effective, so don't wait to ask.
Blood pressure checks
A quick check at the counter, and a clear answer about whether it's worth seeing your doctor.
Medical certificates
A certificate for a short illness, without needing a doctor's appointment.
Stop-smoking support
Practical help and products to quit, with someone to check in with along the way.
Vaccinations & clinical services
No booking needed for vaccinations — walk in and ask.
Immunisations
Flu, COVID-19, MMR, HPV, shingles, Boostrix and vaccinations in pregnancy — given here by a trained pharmacist vaccinator. Flu vaccines run from April to December.
Vitamin B12 injections
Regular B12 injections administered on site, so it's one less appointment to book.
Hepatitis C treatment
We dispense Maviret on prescription, and support you through the course of treatment.
Aseptic dispensing for hospice patients
We work closely with Totara Hospice, preparing sterile medicines for people receiving palliative care at home. It's careful, exacting work, and we're proud to do it for our community.
